The Enviro-Vent Loft Unit

The Enviro-Vent Loft Unit is a sophisticated condensation control unit for dwellings with a loft space.

The first of a modular ventilation system, the Enviro-Vent Loft gently ventilates the home from a central position on the landing in a house or the central hallway of a bungalow.

The Enviro-Vent Flat Unit

As the flat unit draws air directly from the outside and does not enjoy the benefits of solar gain from the loft, an 'intelligent' heater is fitted. The electronic controller automatically measures airflow and external temperatures and adjusts the power supply to the heater to achieve constant comfortable levels of incoming air when temperatures fall.

The Enviro-Vent Flat and Enviro-Vent Loft Units are designed to eradicate condensation from the home. Energy efficient, the units introduce an almost imperceptible air supply throughout the house to transform a stagnant muggy atmosphere into a fresh, healthy, condensation free environment.

The system comprises four units

* The input fan unit
* Double fan extraction unit
* Heat exchange block
* Filter box

The input fan unit is identical to the Enviro-Vent Loft Unit with the fundamental difference that the carcass is solid with no filter area.

The double fan extraction unit draws air in from those parts of the home where warm vapour laden air is generated, such as the kitchen and bathroom.

The warmth from that air is transferred across the heat exchange block and is returned into the home through the input vent. No cross contamination of vapours & smells occurs as the double fan unit vents these to the outside via trunking to a grill in the soffit.

The filter box removes dust from the in-going air in the same way as the Enviro-Vent Loft Filter.
